Registry Repair tools are somewhat similar when it comes to functionality, however there are differences which separate the best from the rest. What makes Registry Easy so good is that it performs it's main function (Optimizing your registry) extremely well, but it also comes with a slue of Bonus Features which makes it a great system management tool.

Registry Easy Review Test Drive

First impressions as the saying goes really do last, the interface is well laid out and easy to navigate with big buttons and a clean and simple design as seen in the screen shot below.

The Scan

While conducting my Registry Easy review I executed the free scan on my PC, I had a feeling that a few errors would be found on my system but to my surprise Registry Easy returned 586 errors on my registry WOW! The scan was performed in under 30 seconds and the results proved to me that it was rather thorough. You will notice that there is quite a big list of tasks that Registry easy is scanning, but it didn’t seem to cause any lag in scan time.

After the scan is complete you will notice a list of errors and items found that the software recommends be deleted or repaired. A nice feature is that I could choose which items were changed, you can simply work through the list and mark which items you want unaltered. and which you want repaired.

I think this is an important feature as it is a failsafe to ensure you don't delete something by mistake, naturally there is an auto repair option as well. The auto repair option simply means that Registry Easy will repair any errors it found during the scan. It is safe to leave this option on, but for those of you who like the manual control the option is available to you.

Safety features of Registry Easy

My registry easy review highlighted the fact that this program also has a backup utility which I think is excellent with the ability to backup, undo, and restore old settings if need be, I’ve been caught one to many times making Changes to something I shouldn’t have and left my PC in worse shape then it was before.

Registry Easy, unlike some other programs, has a backup registry feature, plus a restore point option, this is a little more in depth than most registry cleaners provide.
Restore points are not just a backup, but a complete system snap shot at the time of all the settings on your PC, This is probably the best backup utility I’ve seen in any registry repair software.

I can say without a doubt that this is the best registry cleaner I have reviewed and therefore I give it a 5 STAR Rating. I like the layout of the interface, the add ons and I really like the backup and security features. For the money and features this is probably going to be my top pick for PC registry cleaners.
